Reflection For The Week

Dear God, as we Your children prepare ourselves for the end of year examinations, we feel the great strong wind. As strong as in the experience of Elijah, as it is splitting Boland, Overberg and Table mountains and breaking rocks in pieces…

We feel the anxiety as if we are experiencing an earthquake shaking our faith. We have written many examinations God, but this one has put so much pressure on us, as if we have never done it before. As you did to Elijah, we too depend on the support of our Diocese, Archdeaconries and parishes; we have built a strong foundation of faith. We can hear you talking to us in a calm and quiet voice.

We hear the words you said to Joshua, “I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you… Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go",

Do then, we trust You on this journey that we will succeed and pass these examination as You are on our side.
